Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway Becomes Second Largest US Real Estate Broker

Berkshire's initial investment in Apple was small, suggesting it was made by one of Buffett's investment deputies, but with the latest stake purchase, it has grown to a massive 240.3 million shares worth $42.5 billion.

When speaking about the company, he said that the company is unbelievable.

In late afternoon trading, US benchmark 10-year yields were flat at 2.945 percent from 2.946 percent late on Thursday.

Investors will look for "what could be the new sources of risk for market", said Raamdeo.

Shares of AAPL closed at an all-time high today thanks to the company's historic Q2 earnings report that revealed the iPhone X is doing much better than the analysts expected.

Last year's iPhone 7 came in No. 4, behind the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.

Audiences can witness history, live, as Chairman and CEO Warren Buffett and his right-hand man Charlie Munger share their unscripted views on the company, the markets, the economy, corporate governance, and a lot more. Apple also predicted revenue of $51.5 billion to $53.5 billion in the June quarter, ahead of the $51.6 billion.

Daniel Morgan, an investor in Apple, said it is "not surprising to see Buffet take a big position" in the company. The move is paying off so far, with Apple shares climbing to a record.

"The idea that you're going to spend loads of time trying to guess how many iPhone X ... are going to be sold in a 3 month period totally misses the point", Buffett says. In January this year, Warren Buffett appointed Gregory Abel and Ajit Jain to the Berkshire Hathway board as vice chairmen, hinting that one of them is the most likely heir to Berkshire. Berkshire Hathaway's real-estate brokerage division reported $220 million in profits in 2017, according to an annual report, down from $225 million in 2016.
