Strong to severe storms will be possible Tuesday, mainly across southeastern Nebraska and Iowa, with far northwestern and north central Missouri threatened as storms move east late that afternoon and overnight, the weather service said.
Tonight, the low will be around 63, with a south wind of 15 to 21 miles per hour, gusting to 30 miles per hour, according to the weather service. A south wind of 14 to 24 miles per hour may gust as high as 33 miles per hour.

Showers and thunderstorms will taper off Friday with better weather into the weekend. The low will be around 66.
The week begins with cloudy skies and a few showers heading into Monday evening.
A special weather statement from the National Weather Service says, "The combination of warmer temperatures, windy south winds and dry conditions will lead once again to a very high fire danger this afternoon over much of eastern Iowa and northwest IL". Thursday: Chance of showers/thunderstorms, cloudy - high near 79 - chance of precipitation - 60%.
Sunny skies are expected for both Monday and Tuesday.
Thursday is expected to be partly sunny with a high of 84 and a low around 62.
Friday should reach the upper 70s under mostly cloudy skies.
