Salah emerges PFA Player of the Month of March

Salah fended off competition from Spurs trio Dele Alli, Heung-Min Son and Jan Vertonghen, as well as Manchester City duo Leroy Sane and David Silva.

Salah scored a goal and assisted another in Liverpool's 3-0 thrashing of Manchester City in Anfield on Wednesday, giving the Reds one foot in the semi-finals of the prestigious tournament.

Klopp's men will be hoping to pounce on City, who fell to defeat at the hands of their local rivals Manchester United on Saturday night, missing out on the chance to secure the Premier League title.

The Liverpool star won the award in February and November, but several other stars apart from Lukaku are also aiming to stop Salah making it three for the season.

He picked up a groin injury during the 3-nil first leg victory over City at Anfield last week and sat out the weekend's Merseyside derby.

"He was yesterday with the athletic coach, training".

"Rather yes than no, but we have to wait and see for the reaction". "I don't know in the moment 100 per cent, but I am quite hopeful we will have a bigger squad than we had at Everton", Klopp told the club's official website.

"I don't want to give anything away and I want to wait".

Jurgen Klopp has been speaking to the media at his pre-match press conference this afternoon and he's provided a team news and injury update ahead of the game.
