Real Madrid 0-3 Juventus

Real Madrid advanced to the quarterfinals after ousting Paris Saint-Germain in the Round of 16, while Juventus advanced to the quarterfinals after beating Tottenham in the Round of 16.

Madrid now carries an 18-match Champions League home unbeaten streak stretching back more than three years to a defeat against Schalke 04 on 10 March 2015. To say the next thirty minutes were tense would be an understatement, but there was to be even more late drama at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.

Real Madrid will be without suspended captain Sergio Ramos and Nacho Fernandez is out injured, meaning young centre-back Jesus Vallejo is likely to make his first Champions League appearance. "It will be a hard game but they have to try", he said. Now, it looks there's only going to be one outcome. It's hard, of course, but they have to try. If there was ever a sign that lightning might strike twice, it was when Mario Mandzukic scored the early goal Juve so desperately needed after just 76 seconds, the fastest goal ever conceded by the Spanish giants at home in the competition.

Asked if it is a daunting prospect to play at the Bernabeu, Pirlo added: "No, it's not scary". The Reds are still 1/8 (1.12) to qualify, but dabblebet players can get more for their money than anywhere else if they are keen to side with the underdogs to turn things around.

"When you play these kinds of games you don't have to be scared, you only have to be able to enjoy playing football".
