On April 21, 2017, Maria Carballo, a massage therapist contracted with Therapy Professionals, was contacted to perform a two-hour massage on a client at the Hyatt Regency in Chicago, according to her complaint filed Monday in Cook County Circuit Court.
Carballo is seeking a judgment "in excess of $50,000, plus an award of punitive damages, and attorneys" fees and costs as permitted under the statute'.
The Chicago Tribune reports that Lee's attorney, Jonathan Freund, called the lawsuit "a shakedown" and says Lee denies the allegations.
Chicago police are reportedly investigating after Carballo also filed a complaint with them.
The therapist advised her boss that she was uncomfortable and did not need to return for a second session with Lee, however she was advised he was a VIP and went again as she feared loosing her job.
