However, while Nixon's other SATC co-stars - like Kristin Davies, aka Charlotte - pledged their support, Parker still seems to be undecided. She then finally had her spokeswoman Ina Treciokas tell Page Six, "Cynthia has been my friend and colleague since we were little girls. I know that she would be an excellent Governor!" she wrote on March 19. "A mother/An activist/An advocate/A fighter/A NY'er/A dear friend/ Running for Governor of our great state".
So the far-more-enthusiastic Thursday Instagram puts her in the same camp as Davis, who immediately after Nixon announced her run for the Empire State's Democratic nomination, publicly backed her former co-star.
We bet! It probably helps that Nixon stayed (relatively) neutral in the SATC3 beef between Cattrall and Parker.
"I support & respect any former colleague's right to make their own career choices", she posted. "I know that she cares deeply about the issues facing all of us". Cattrall, though, has been in a feud with Parker recently. Of course, this won't be an easy race.
"Yesterday, when I announced my candidacy, one of Governor Cuomo's top surrogates dismissed me as an 'unqualified lesbian, '" Nixon said in response at a campaign launch event. She's attacked Cuomo for being a centrist and too much of an insider. We want our government to work again on health care, ending mass incarceration, fixing our broken subway.
