WhatsApp Business app starts rolling out in selected markets


Even, if you are using a business number and your personal one, you can use both the WhatsApp Business and WhatsApp Messenger apps on the same device and register with your different numbers. WhatsApp also claimed that 84 percent of SMBs think that WhatsApp helps them communicate with customers, andA80 percent of SMBs think that WhatsApp helps them grow their business. The company has highlighted few benefits about the application on its official blog.

Business owners will be able to create a profile which contains useful information about their business; a contact email, the physical address and the company website. With smart messaging tools, businesses can make quick replies which could be a pre-formatted response to frequently asked questions.

The app will also provide messaging statistics and metrics so companies can see what is working.

WhatsApp Web: Send and receive messages with WhatsApp Business on your desktop.

Business accounts will be clearly listed as such.

WhatsApp is planning to confirm businesses over time, so look out for a green checkmark next to an account's name. And people will continue to have full control over the messages they receive, with the ability to block any number, including businesses, as well as report spam.




WhatsApp intends to charge businesses in some form in the future.

Businesses will also be identified as such on WhatsApp.

WhatsApp Business is now available from the Play Store in the US, UK, Italy, Mexico, and Indonesia. Customers do not need to install an extra application as WhatsApp Business for business management only.

WhatsApp's YouTube integration feature has finally been made available to iPhone users.

WhatsApp had earlier stated that it is important to serve businesses as they heavily rely on the platform to communicate with their customers. There's been no confirmation of whether or not an iOS version of the app is being produced. It will roll out around the world over the next few weeks.
