TODAY'S FORECAST: Showers, high near 48

Thursday: Mostly sunny with a high near 48 degrees. Northwest wind 7 to 13 miles per hour.

Tuesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 28.

Wednesday, it will be sunny with a high near 48, the weather service said.

Saturday night, the low will be around 27 with mostly clear skies, according to the weather service. South wind 9 to 11 miles per hour.

Sunday: Partly sunny with a 40% chance for rain and a high near 50 degrees. Northwest wind 5 to 10 miles per hour. Night: Partly to mostly cloudy and very cold.

Boston will see rainfall and a possibly thunderstorm before 4 p.m., with a chance of showers continuing into the evening, according to the city's 7-day forecast.

TONIGHT: 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms before 9 pm. Night: Partly cloudy and cold. Cloudy, with a low around 47. About.75 to 1.25 inches of rain is expected Tuesday over the course of six hours.

That advisory begins at 3 p.m., and extends until Tuesday at 9 a.m., since the freezing rain could also impact commuters on Tuesday morning.

Overall this week the mild temperatures will continue with more rain chances as we head into the next weekend.

Monday: Showers likely, mainly before 10 a.m. Low: -5. Day: Snow showers tapering off in the morning with clearing skies in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent.
