Police Say Las Vegas Gunman Had Illicit Porn on His Computer

In the USA, the Federal Bureau of Investigation says it is looking at a new person of interest in connection with last October's mass shooting at a concert in Las Vegas that left 58 people dead. There are also photos of his dead body. His girlfriend, Marilou Danley, told investigators he had become "distant", the report says, "and their relationship was no longer intimate".

They said they trust Paddock carefully arranged and disguised his intend to discharge ambush style weapons from the 32nd story of the Mandalay Bay inn into a horde of 22,000 individuals going to the Route 91 Harvest Festival music underneath. After the police authorities identified Paddock's location in the hotel and stormed it, the gunman was reported to have killed himself with a gun.

It further states that Paddock bought nearly double the amount of firearms in the year leading up to his October 1, 2017 attack than he had purchased in the 24 years after he bought his first gun in 1982.

An FBI spokeswoman said last week that she could not comment about Danley. That incorporates around 200 shots discharged through Paddock's lodging room entryway into a passage where an unarmed inn security watch was injured in the leg and a support design sought shelter to abstain from being hit.

A preliminary police report says the bodies of 31 were found in or immediately outside a concert venue across Las Vegas Boulevard from the Mandalay Bay resort.

The sheriff of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said on Friday he does not foresee charges being filed against the girlfriend of Paddock, but added that the FBI was investigating a person he would not identify.

Exploding targets were found in Paddock's hotel room by police.

The sheriff and the Federal Bureau of Investigation have said they found no connection to worldwide psychological oppression.

The report said "several hundred images of child pornography" were recovered on Paddock's laptop computer.

Danley was in the Philippines at the time of the shooting.

Sheriff Lombardo also clarified that no charges were being brought against Paddock's girlfriend, Marilou Danley, in connection with the October 1 mass shooting.

As a gambler known to bet tens of thousands of dollars at a time and play at numerous casinos, Paddock was completely funded by his gambling habits and real estate transactions.

The Clark County coroner ruled that all 58 people killed in the attack died of gunshot wounds. The report indicates that he made multiple trips from a vehicle to his hotel suite carrying multiple bags, and visited a gun range during one visit to Mesquite. Investigators are upfront about the fact that every one of his weapon and ammunition purchases was legal, writing "Paddock did not commit a crime until he fired the first round into the crowd at the Las Vegas Village". Authorities said they don't anticipate charges being brought against Danley, who has cooperated with investigators.

The lack of information on the case has led to wild speculation, including the theory pushed Thursday by a Republican congressman that ISIS was behind the shooting.

Danley told investigators that they would find her fingerprints on bullets used during the attack because she would sometimes help Paddock load high-volume ammunition magazines, according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation records.
