New features include a motorcycle for Link to ride, Champions with Kass the Bard, complete a new dungeon, unique new armors, and more!
The 2017 edition of The Game Awards ended with Eiji Aonuma and Hidemaro Fujibayashi, producer and director of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild respectively, lifting the coveted prize and receiving a standing ovation from the audience. This marks the very beginning of the main Champions' Ballad DLC quest, but it it's far from the only activity you can take on in the new DLC Pack 2.
Nintendo surprised everyone over the night by releasing the second major DLC expansion for the incredibly popular Switch and Wii:U game: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Earlier in the year they saw a fantastic launch of their new gaming system The Nintendo Switch.
As you might have noticed in the trailer that announced the release of The Champions' Ballad DLC Pack 2, Link has access to a new motorbike, named the Master Cycle Zero. Annual video game preview and awards show The Game Awards delivered three wins apiece to vintage cartoon-styled jaunt Cuphead, intense mental health adventure Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, and overall Game of the Year recipient The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
What distinguishes "The Champion's Ballad" from previous expansion content for "Breath of the Wild" is its focus on new story progression.
Winners in most of the show's categories were decided through a vote split 90/10 between The Game Awards' jury and TGA website visitors. The first was called "The Master Trials", released in June 2017.
