Apparently, you don't need to leave your house - oh, and it doesn't even have to be Black Friday. And while those are just a taste of the lead up to Black Friday, Walmart has also released its full list of deals that will be available in stores starting at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving day through Black Friday.
Most Kmart stores will be open from 6 a.m. -10 p.m. on Thanksgiving, before reopening at 6 a.m. on Black Friday.
In a nod to the growing number of shoppers who prefer to shop online, the nation's biggest retailer will offer its Black Friday discounts starting at 12:01 AM Thanksgiving morning, while those who like the buzz of the crowds will be able to nab "door buster" discounts at stores starting at 6 p.m. that evening.
"The hottest Best Buy Black Friday 2017 doorbuster deal is a $179.99 50" Sharp LC-50LBU591U 4K UHD Roku Smart TV.
Best Buy stores will open at 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving and stay open until 1 a.m. Friday.
Walmart stores are open 24 hours a day, including on Thanksgiving, but the retailer picks a time on Thanksgiving evening when its Black Friday deals become available.
Hours: JC Penny has not yet announced its store hours, but deals will last November 23-Dec. 24. In past years, Walmart has put new items on sale every hour or so during the first hours of the Thanksgiving evening. Black Friday ad not online yet. Retailers are trying to strike a balance between online and in-store deals as shoppers use both.
