First of all, the game is getting a new heroine (or more appropriately, a villainess), Moira, who is a support hero with biotic abilities combining recovery and attack.
She then also has basic abilities: Biotic Orb can either heal allies or damage enemies as it bounces around teh map, and Fade gives her the ability to teleport a short distance instantly.
Creative director Jeff Kaplan described the character something of a hybrid character, which is something a bit unusual for Overwatch, but was looking forward to seeing the character in the hands of players-even jokingly describing the characters as "OP AF". Blizzard has provided a deeper breakdown of Moira's abilities and backstory on the official Overwatch site, however, is yet to announce a release date.
Overwatch Moira trailer - How does she look? "Once she's charged Coalescence, Moira can save multiple allies from elimination at once or finish off weakened enemies".
Reinhardt, otherwise known as the best tank, also received his own animated short. To play her effectively, she's got to be both doing damage and healing constantly. The new hero, called Moira, is the 26th playable character to be added to the game. The map is part assault and part payload and it will be going live early 2018 and will be on the PTR soon.
