This year marks the 11th straight year that the Cowboy's are the NFL's most valued franchise. The good first. The team's value actually went up from previous year, but the bad news because we're the least valuable team in the league.
The Patriots come in second ($3.7 billion) with the Giants ($3.3 billion), Washington ($3.1 billion) and 49ers rounding out the top five. Four years ago, there was only one team worth over $2 billion - the Cowboys.
At the bottom of the list, the Bills, Lions and Bengals make up the three least valuable teams in the National Football League, from 32nd to 30th.
Teams with new or renovated stadium salso saw a rise in value.
Considering all teams in the world in every sport the Cowboys only have a threat in New York Yankees who are worth $3.7 billion. Although the Los Angeles Rams got a huge boost when they moved to L.A. in 2016 - they jumped from the 28th most valuable team to the sixth most valuable - the Chargers only saw a slight increase. Since moving from San Diego, the team's value has gone from $2.08 billion to $2.275 billion. That's more than US$1 billion ahead of the New England Patriots (US$3.7 billion).
