Android Oreo was recently unveiled by Google and companies are eager to make the stride towards the new OS.
The confirmation came in a response to a USA customer's query on Twitter whether "Android Oreo is coming to HTC 10?" Pixel and Nexus users will be among the first to get the new update, which is not surprising at all.
Another tweet mentioned that the update will be rolled out to all the HTC users worldwide. So, if you are a proud owner of a device other than these, then you might have to wait a few more months to get your hands on Oreo.
An upcoming update to Google's Android software finally has a delectable name.
Android Oreo also ships with more security features, including remote location, locking and wiping with Find My Device, and Google Play Protect, which scans for, detects and automatically deletes malicious apps on a daily basis. With this improvement, Android Oreo users will be able to enjoy theming of the Android Framework and Android System UI, theming of any third-party application, custom fonts for 3rd-party apps, and a status bar center-clock mod WITHOUT root. Google introduced app shortcuts in Android Nougat, where you could access shortcuts for frequently performed action on supported apps by long pressing the app icon on your home screen or the app drawer. There are devices other than the Pixel and Nexus lineup those will get the update within the end of this year.
